Solid sodium formate. Same HCOONa, same CAS 141-53-7 — but in dry crystalline form, white powder or granules, purity ranging 92% to 98%. This is the format you want if shipping efficiency matters, if you're stocking bulk inventory, or if you need the flexibility to dissolve it on-site at whatever concentration your process calls for. Why pay to ship water when you can add it at the point of use?

The purity ladder: 92%, 95%, 97%, 98%. The higher you go, the tighter the impurity profile. Moisture runs under 1.5% for the 98% grade, under 3.0% for 92%. Chloride content: max 0.2% at 98%, max 1.0% at 92%. A 10% solution lands at pH 7.5–9.5. Bulk density: 1.2–1.4 g/cm³. Shelf life: 12 months in original sealed packaging.
